A Falmouth resident has shared some of her Gyllyngvase Beach rock-pooling photos with Nub News.

The photos were taken left of the beach in the 'shallow pools on the rocky reef outcrops'.

Kate Passmore, who lives in Falmouth with her partner, works with websites and branding alongside running a successful cleaning company, Passmore Cleaning.

Kate told Nub News:

"I would by no means call myself a photographer but I do believe in being creative with the tools you have."

Kate took the above photos without prior planning, which makes them even more impressive.

"These were all taken blindly, to be honest, I stuck my hand in the water and hoped for the best. I've taken photos for as long as I've had a mobile with a camera," she told us.

Kate believes that writers and ameature photographers need to practise - so she began blogging her explorations around Cornwall, combining the two mediums.

You can view more of Kate's work on her website, or by following her on Instagram at @katetocoast.
