Lockdown is set to end this week (2nd) signalling the reopening of businesses in Falmouth and Penryn.

Wednesday (2nd) will see the opening of a new salon in Penryn, 20twenty Hair and Beauty.

Due to open in May, complications with the Coronavirus pandemic meant the team had to wait patiently but they are finally ready to go.

The new hair salon will be based at The Mill Yard, College Hill.

One of the co-owners Kerry Prynn told Nub News:

"Myself, Sammy Sleeman and Mica Couch are opening a new salon on Wednesday.

"Sammy and I have moved premises together and joined with Mica.

"We were originally Shear Beauty in Penryn and now called 20twenty hair and beauty.

"It's been a tough old year for us self employed girls as we were meant to open in May. We are extremely proud of our new salon.

"We have installed screens to protect both clients and staff and to ensure we can maximise our time efficiency.

"By putting this safety measure in place we are able to provide services to more than one client at a time and minimising the risk/spread of coronavirus."
