A Falmouth pub has announced it will be reopening to the public next month as they introduce "Falmouth's biggest covered outdoor licensed space".

The pub has said that they are "flexible" and will adapt if anything changes with the government's guidelines.

The Working Boat, situated on Greenbank Quay, will host a large-scale marquee throughout the summer months, which they say will allow for "al fresco dining on the quay whatever the weather" as well as drinks throughout the day.

The 'mar-quay on the sea' will launch on the evening of Saturday 4th July for dinner service from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, with a maximum of six people per booking.

The pub's horsebox bar will also be open for drinks services throughout the day from midday until late.

From Monday 6th July, the pub mar-quay will be open every day for lunch and dinner – inside too if permitted – as well as drinks from midday until late.

With outside public conveniences, outside bar and full table service, the pub says that all customers will be able to maintain recommended safe distancing.

Managing Director, Ben Young, said: "Our safe haven awaits you. Returning from 4th July with fresh sea air, safe distancing, and our traditional pub atmosphere fully intact, we're ready to welcome you back on board."

As the marquee has a strictly limited maximum capacity to ensure the safety of both visitors and staff, and in line with UK government guidelines, bookings are strongly recommended.

For bookings, you can call The Greenbank on 01326 312440.
