There will be free entry to the National Maritime Museum over the town's festive weekend.

Saturday 11th December and Sunday 12th is an exciting one on the calendar for the community.

Falmouth's Festive Weekend presents a host of Christmas activities, music, and food, with a festive land train, ice rink, and fairground attractions.

The National Maritime Museum based on Discovery Quay is offering free entry for all Cornish residents on those dates.

A spokesperson for the museum added:

"After a challenging year, we're delighted to welcome all those with a Cornish postcode to the Museum for free. There'll be festive crafting, a museum trail as well as all the usual museum favourites."
