The Falmouth Town team announced the dates for next year's Festive Weekend after a very successful couple of days.

On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December Falmouth welcomed back the fun-filled Christmas weekend extravaganza after previous years were impacted by covid.

The community was able to enjoy lots of activities from an artificial ice rink, festive land train, adult swing rides, and the helter-skelter.

There was also a vintage fair, a snow globe on The Moor, snow through the streets, and free entry to National Maritime Museum.

Live music could be heard throughout the town from a variety of acts/groups, including Will Keating, Culdrose Military Wives Choir, Sing Choir, and Pendennis Brass.

The Falmouth Town Team called it "community at its best" and it certainly was.

In a closing statement, Town Manager Richard Gates said:

"It has been a great weekend. The atmosphere, the feedback we've had, people are absolutely loving it. We are definitely going to do this again."

BID Manager Richard Wilcox added:

"Thank you to all of those who have come into town over the last few days. Also thank you to all of our partners who helped organise the Festive Weekend. The dates for next year are Saturday and Sunday 10th-11th December 2022, we'll see you next year."
