UPDATE:

The owner of the cat has been located.

A resident has issued an appeal to find the owners of a cat that was hit by a car yesterday evening.

It was issued on social media by Sophie Sanders after witnessing the incident at Dracaena Avenue on her way home.

Sophie took the cat to Rosemullion Vets, Falmouth.

Sophie posted the appeal on social media saying:

"We stopped but unfortunately, there was nothing we could do.

"We also knocked on a few houses in the area but the residents think he may have come from laburnum way."

The cat is white underneath and tabby on top. So far, the owners haven't been located.
