Back at the end of June last year The Front's previous owners announced the pub was closing amid Coronavirus troubles.

Now, the popular watering hole is under new ownership and management, with Rob and the team working to spruce up the place ahead of a big reopening on April 12th.

The pub hasn't had too many changes with Rob keen to keep it as people remember it.

Rob told Nub News:

"We're all really excited to reopen and have everyone back after a long year of being closed. Just to put any minds at ease The Front remains the same pub we all love, aside from a bit of sprucing up inside and out.

"Stocking the same great selection of local ales and cider with familiar faces back behind the bar. Can't wait to have you all back. See you in April."

Rob is working hard with some familiar pub faces to get the place ready for next month.
