BARB JUNGR: LOVE SONGS OF DYLAN AND COHEN

Much celebrated and award-winning jazz and cabaret singer Barb Jungr brings her interpretations of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen love songs to the Tolmen Centre.

Described as one of the most accomplished British singers of her generation. Barb Jungr's formidable talent as a singer, composer, and lyricist is only outshined by her ability to re-interpret familiar songs and reveal new depths of meaning and beauty.

Internationally acclaimed, Jungr continues to evolve her signature style while her transcendent artistry both live and recorded continues to delight audiences. 

With "Forgetful Heart," Barb continues her love affair with the work of two of the most important songwriters of the 20th Century. Through the lockdown, she thought about love, and in particular the love songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, from their earliest explorations to their most recent recordings.

Working with her longstanding collaborator Jenny Carr, Barb will include Forgetful Heart, What Happens To The Heart, If You Gotta Go, Go Now, I've Made Up My Mind To Give Myself To You, and So Long Marianne, among more treasures.
