Mylor and Flushing Environment Action group is going green in 2023.

And the group is kicking off its Year of the Environment with a Going Green Fair at the Ord-Statter Pavilion, Mylor Bridge, on Saturday March 18.

Group organiser Celia Savage says: 'The Fair, supported by the Parish Council, will take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and everyone is welcome to come and join in with the activities. The aim of Going Green is to show the public different ways to help our environment, and enable visitors to pick up some good ideas.

'We'll have stalls run by Plastic-Free Falmouth, Forest for Cornwall, Cornwall AONB, Mylor Community Garden, Falmouth Repair Shop, and Mylor Garden Share, amongst others. Cornwall Council Tree Officers will also be on hand, along with experts on bees and hedgehogs, entry is free, and refreshments will be provided by members of the Mylor WI.'
