Falmouth Pride 2023

Falmouth Pride will take place on Saturday the 29th of April and will include a vibrant parade alongside lots of live music and fun.

The event is organised by Cornwall Pride who run a number of pride events in town across the county all the way through to August, you can find a full list here: Cornwall Pride Events.

If you're unsure what pride is all about here is what the organisers have to say: "Our one-day PRIDE events across Cornwall celebrates equality and diversity across our entire LGBTQ+ and marginalised communities, shining a beacon in Cornwall and the South West and shouting out; You have the right to Love who You want to Love and Be who You want to be without hate or any discrimination."

The day will kick off with the parade at 12pm from the Prince of Wales Pier, the marching parade is a colourful and vibrant event, planned to flow through the streets of Falmouth. The march will include walkers, walking bands, dance groups, organisations, and charities.

After the parade Falmouth Pride will carry on from 12.30 pm to 8 pm at Discovery Quay and around Falmouth, organisers say it will be a live music/conversation event that will be a safe family-friendly event with lots to see and do.

There will be stalls from organisations and groups within Cornwall and the UK offering advice and support. There will also be a range of hot, and cold food available and even a licensed bar area too.
