Comedy

UNTIL Thursday 30th June

Events at Fish Factory.

(No) Money in the Bank are a lot of things. Rabble rousers, best friends, two blackbirds on a highway sign, but those are mostly joke answers. We are an alternative-comedy double act from the North of England, made up of Thom Bee and Andrew Marsh, attempting to walk the fine line between DIY punk ethics and comedy performance. In essence, we wish we were a band but lack any musical talent so just do the banter.

Together we have run a number of compilation shows, gigged in some of the weirdest and queerest nights in the UK, and taken years of our lives trying to make our own opportunities.

ShoW history (No) MoNey iN the baNk

Edinburgh Fringe 2018/19, UK Tour 2018

An hour long show combining character comedy and straight stand up, explaining our lifelong love affair with professional wrestling. The show featured Andrew as a haggard former wrestler, Balthazar Dark, reliving his glory days on stage, facilitated by his biggest fan, Thom Bee.

Nobody likes you When you're 33

Edinburgh Fringe 2019

Another show that explores our shared passions, this time focussing on the angsty world of pop-punk. Nobody Likes You When You're 33 took the made up band "Februrary Heatwave" and put them on our made up talk show. Feauturing over 20 guest improvisers throughout the run of the fringe, as well as four Andrew Marsh characters, to create a baffling new show on every performance.

National Chocolate Wafer day

Brighton Fringe 2020

Written in 17 hours at the height of lockdown, and performed three hours later. National Chocolate Wafer Day was a one-off show where we created our own traditions for the very real holiday of the same name, and tried to fight off the biggest villain of all, the sugar tax.
