Liane Stevenson studied Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic in the eighties and has been working in a variety of media ever since. Her subject matter is taken mainly from the urban and rural landscape, but she also has a great interest in representing my view of the natural world.
She specialises in collage and mixed media which allows her to express the rhythms and patterns she looks for in her subject matter, however, she is also happy working in charcoal, oils, and acrylics.
More recently Lian has been experimenting with portraiture and working from the figure, and in 2015 she had two paintings selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition.
