Man and dog rescued after falling into harbour and getting stuck in mud
A MAN and his dog were rescued on Monday evening after falling into mud at Hayle harbour.

Dozens give up Christmas Day to support grieving father's memorial walk
A father unable to face Christmas Day at home following the death of his daughter from sepsis two months ago said it was "very touching" to see the support he received on a 30-mile walk in her memory.

At 1902 the Critical Control Centre received a call to state that one dog and its owner had fallen into the harbour and was stuck in the mud. Crews from Penzance, Hayle, specialist water rescue teams from Falmouth and St Austell and two wholetime officers were mobilised to this incident. One dog and its owner were rescued from the harbour, using general purpose lines and water rescue equipment.
