Head coach Neil Kelly has named his Cornwall RLFC squad for the Betfred League 1 round four clash at Doncaster.

The Choughs will make the trip to the Eco-Power Stadium looking to make it third time lucky after suffering defeats to North Wales Crusaders and Midlands Hurricanes in their first two matches of 2022.

Kelly has been forced to shuffle his pack for the trip to South Yorkshire on Easter Saturday due a combination of injury, suspension and unavailability.

Skipper Jamie Prisk, who suffered a hand injury at North Wales in round two, further aggravated the problem against Midlands and misses out.

Josh Tora's rotten luck with injury continues as after shaking off a hamstring injury, he suffered a rib knock in the Hurricanes defeat and is set for another spell on the sidelines.

Josh Hartshorne, who impressed in two Cornwall losing causes so far this term, is also ruled out while Liam Whitton serves the second of his two game suspension. Andy Kay is unavailable.

These enforced absensences has seen Kelly name Bradford Bulls trio Coby Nichol, Joe Burton and Jayden Myers in his matchday squad after the Odsal outfit and Cornwall recently signed a dual registration agreement.

Both Nichol and Burton graduated through the academy system at Super League side Leeds Rhinos before joining the Bulls. Burton has Championship experience with Bradford's first team squad and made two Championship appearances scoring one try in 2021.

Myers progressed through the Odsal ranks and signed his first professional deal with the three time World Club Challenge winners during the close season.

Cornwall (from): Aaronson, Brannan, Bolger, Burton, Chard, Collings, Gilder, Johns, Jones, Lloyd, Mullally, Myers, Nichol, Purcell, Ray, Snell, Symons, Thomson, Trerise, Turton.
