A DOG is "fighting for its life" after being attacked by another in a Falmouth street on New Year's Day.
Around 70 firefighters battle blaze throughout the night
FIREFIGHTERS from all over west Cornwall tackled a fire in Redruth in the early hours of this morning.

Numerous calls were received for this incident, initially appliances from Tolvaddon and Falmouth were mobilised, once on scene further resources were requested, a total of eight appliances are at the scene from Tolvaddon, Falmouth, Perranporth, Truro, Hayle and Helston, also specialist appliances from Penzance, Helston, Falmouth, St. Just and St. Dennis are in attendance. Approximately seventy personnel are in attendance.
