A group of local artists is celebrating the innovative way they got through lockdown, by holding an exhibition at the Falmouth Poly in November.
They all belong to Falmouth Sketch Club, a group of art-loving people who enjoy sketching, drawing, painting and socialising. Guided by local teacher Eve Bourrat, who is the Club's founder, they would – pre-pandemic - meet every week at local cafés.

FALMOUTH and Penryn parents, carers and students have been reassured by Cornwall Council that arrangements for transport are in place for students travelling to and from schools when they reopen in September.
The Council is going to continue providing transport for eligible students to and from school and in post-16 education through dedicated student-only school buses, taxis/minibuses and other forms of transport including public bus services.

Sticky has been labelled an 'icon' by many as well as a consistently friendly, familiar face around the town.

Willow Parker-Murray has decided to 'Brave the Shave' in tribute to her nan, who passed away during lockdown, losing her life to bowel cancer.
Gloria Kevern, of the Beacon area of Falmouth, passed away on May 9th aged 75, after battling cancer for most of her granddaughter's life.
