Yellow weather warnings issued to Falmouth

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings regarding strong winds in Falmouth on Wednesday and Thursday.

People are being advised to be careful as strong winds are expected to begin tomorrow afternoon and carry on throughout the night into Thursday.

The Met Office says that it is likely Falmouth will experience:

  • Large waves

• Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport

• Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes

• Some short term loss of power

Heavy rain is also expected on Wednesday.
