In an announcement made last night Voices Of The Borough is set to make an exciting return tomorrow with Doorstep Voices 2.0 led by Will Keating.
On Thursday England will go into a second national lockdown and to show support for local businesses people from Cornwall and UK wide will stream in to watch Will Keating perform.
The brains behind Voices Of The Borough Shelley Peters and Rachel Gerred-Hart set up the group to celebrate everyone's strength during the Coronavirus.
Originally the sing-along was to show appreciation for key workers but this time it will be to honour those businesses that have had to close.
Rachel Gerred-Hart said:
"Lockdown Thursdays return with the gorgeous Mr Will Keating.
"We are introducing a clap but this time its to honour the businesses who have to close.
"To those who are struggling with being locked in. To those whose mental health is taking a battering. To remind you all your not alone. To remind you we will be back to support your businesses."
Residents around the county flocked to celebrate that the popular sing-along was returning with well over 100 people reacting to the news so far.
One resident commented:
"I will be tuning in from Hampshire again."
A second resident said:
"Literally good to hear...shall be connecting with Ye olde home town from down here in The Bay of Plenty. Will have to set my alarm."
A third added:
"Thank you so much Will Keating, looking forward to it already."
It will kick-off at 7:30pm and you can stream it from the Voices Of The Borough Facebook page.
The group has grown rapidly over the last few months with over 16,000 members, click here to join the group and see the latest updates and watch the live stream.
