Penryn Town Fair - Saturday 26 August
Penryn will host its 42 Town Fair this weekend, this year's main attraction is Ritchie the Raptor who will feature with three 20-minute performances.
There will be loads of traders selling all sorts of stuff from jewellery to books. Numerous food vendors selling delicious grub, well-stocked bars with refreshing drinks, and lots of entertainment for the whole family.

Piratical Weapons - Saturday 26 August
Being a pirate can be a dangerous job, sea monsters, the navy… other pirates! All pose a threat an honest pirates on their voyages, and they need to defend themselves!
Join Swashbuckling Cornwall at The Poly as they talk and demonstrate a variety of real swashbuckling weapons from the golden age of piracy and beyond.

Constantine Arts Society Annual Exhibition - Starting Saturday 16 August
Constantine Arts Society Annual Exhibition takes place from Saturday 26th August to Saturday 9th September. It is being held once again in the beautiful setting of Constantine Parish Church and includes entries from pupils of the village primary school.
There are over 60 paintings and plenty of crafts including printing, textile art, and photography. The society's chosen charity this year is MAN DOWN which supports male mental health in Cornwall.

99p Films presents - The Seeds of Vandana Shiva - Sunday 27 August
99p Films is hosting another community cinema event in Falmouth, this time at the Princess Pavilion. Screening Vandana Shiva's new feature-length documentary 'The Seeds of Vandana Shiva'.
Expect a social and participatory evening following their signature format style of EAT - BREATHE - WATCH - DISCUSS.
