After almost two years, Parklive from local radio station SourceFM is returning to Kimberley Park in Falmouth this weekend.

The action starts at 12noon on Sunday, September 25 with music and a laid back vibe at our family friendly event in the park.

Organisers have put together a line up of local musicians to include Falmouth-based rock 'n' roll guitarist and songwriter Tarn Francois whose debut album 'Melrose Cottage' is out now.

He will be joined by Sammy Sun, a jazz pianist, bassist and teacher in Falmouth. He plays keyboards for party band The Strutts and bass guitar for dream pop singer Yasmin Anderson with highlights of his 12 years as a musician including gigs at Shambala and Boardmasters festivals.

The West Cornwall-based Whippletree Celidh Band are sure to get the crowds up and dancing, while Nicola Edwards and Richard Trethewey – two long time Cornish friends and musicians – will be performing their original songs accompanied by a variety of instruments.

Moosehead are a new band from Cornwall and will be stepping back from their usual "loud and out there" style to bring an acoustic set to Parklive.

Lively, up-and-coming act Paige Forster – half Cornish and half Australian – will be entertaining with delicate, intertwining melodies and restless driving guitars.

The bill will be topped with Parklive favourites Lionhat Collective, offering sweet, reggae vibes ideal for a lazy Sunday in the park.

Kimberley Perk will be open for refreshments throughout the event, which is alcohol-free and family friendly.

A spokesperson said: "We are so grateful to be back in the park – come and join us and make our gratitude complete."
