Falmouth and Helston Police have issued a warning to motorcycle owners this morning.

They are being urged to keep their motorcycles secure following a series of thefts around Falmouth this month.

Earlier this month police were investigating after a motorbike was set alight on Conway Road.

A spokesperson for Falmouth and Helston Police said:

"There has been a recent increase in the theft of mopeds in the Falmouth area during the first half of November.

"If you have a motorcycle, please ensure you keep it locked and secured and if possible, parked off the road and out of sight."
