A vehicle was seized in Falmouth yesterday after being stopped by police.

It was discovered the driver had travelled from Wales to collect a car.

A spokesperson for the Alliance Roads Policing Team said the individual knew full well he wasn't insured.

Alliance Roads Policing said:

"Vehicle stopped in Falmouth - driver took the train from Wales to come and collect his car.

"His insurance was cancelled, he knew it but decided to drive. Vehicle seized and he has been reported.

"No insurance no car."
