On Saturday, Chairman Bruce Robertson announced that Trago Mills was working "hard" on getting the stores ready for reopening.

The Build Centre at the Trago Mills Newton Abbot store has reopened today (11th May) for building, DIY, decorating, landscaping and garden.

Despite the opening people are still being asked to "follow all social distancing and sanitisation advice on site."

Bruce Robertson said:

"As part of our social distancing procedures at Trago only two family members will be able to shop at any one time, under 16-year-olds will not be permitted at the moment and some services like paint mixing are suspended.

"Thanks for your understanding as Trago continues to work hard to make shopping safer.

"In our main stores, we are working hard on new safety precautions and equipment to ensure safe shopping for customers and staff when we re-open. We are following government advice on re-opening and will update you soon."

Trago Mills also said that all outstanding orders will be fulfilled as soon as they re-open for business and returns will be processed as soon as the business is open again.

Mr Robertson added:

"We take this opportunity to thank all customers for their support and forbearance and hope to see you again soon."
