Two men, aged 24 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion on murder. They remain in police custody at this time.

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She also remains in police custody.

Scene guards are remaining in place at the scene of the crime whilst the investigation remains in its early stages.

Police have said the local community may see an "increased police presence" over the coming days as enquiries continue.

Officers were called to a property in Tresawle Road shortly after midnight on Tuesday 5th May, following reports of concern for the welfare of Mr Pill.

He was located inside the address having sustained serious injuries and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

Last night a candlelight vigil was held to honour the memory of Aaron Pill.

Residents uploaded photos of their individual candles to show solidarity and support for Mr Pill's family and friends.

Anyone who has any information which could assist the police investigation is asked to contact police on 101 or by emailing [email protected], quoting log number 12, 5/5/20.

Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
