Uber Eats set to expand its delivery service to Falmouth

Uber Eats is set to be the latest delivery service in the town, it has been announced this week.

Those managing the opening of Uber Eats in the town told Nub News they hope to open tomorrow (30th), with McDonald's the first restaurant to sign up and more are expected to follow.

Uber Eats joins Zoom 1 Hour Delivery in starting up in the town this week.

Nathan Jolly owns Subway Falmouth and is helping to manage the launch, acting as a key point of contact. There will be lots of free kit on offer for drivers who sign up.

Nathan is also on the lookout for delivery drivers, covering Falmouth, Camborne, Truro and Penzance, with the role having "great earning potential."

What you'll need

A reliable car, or a scooter/motorbike.

A smartphone – iPhone (iOS 11 and above) or Android (6.0 and above). For utilising dispatch and GPS tracking system.

Post Code geo-fenced. Which limits long drives.

Commitment for key operational periods - evenings and weekends.

Key periods 4pm to Midnight. Flexibility for AM service.
