An order was issued yesterday for travellers to leave a site near Pendennis Castle, known as The Hornworks, which has seemingly been ignored.

The latest update from the site is that more travellers have arrived on the site.

A local resident said the group were still there this afternoon despite being told to leave by 10am, Wednesday 7th July.

Images of the travellers were shared by Councillor David Saunby, who visited the site. Mr Saunby also put forward the idea for boulders on the site.

As revealed to Nub News by Cornwall Council yesterday, plans are said to be already progressing to put boulders on the site to prevent this from happening in the future.

We will share any further information from Cornwall Council as we get it.
