UPDATE: Road open again following earlier incident.

There has been an accident this afternoon forcing the closure of a route coming out of Mabe, just outside of Penryn.

Reports are suggesting that the incident is between a car and a cyclist. The road remains closed at this time.

The AA traffic route map reads:

"Road closed due to accident, a car and cyclist involved on Trenoweth Lane both ways from Weselyan Chapel to Trenoweth. Traffic is coping well."
