Three taken to hospital after crash near Ponsanooth

Emergency services have confirmed that three people were taken to hospital with one in a life-threatening condition.

Devon and Cornwall police have said that at approximately 1422 hrs on Thursday 4th May 2023, emergency services were called to a report of a three-vehicle Road Traffic Collison at Pelean Cross, on the Lanner side of Ponsanooth on the A393, involving a white VW Tiguan, a blue Ford Kuga, and a grey Peugeot 208 GT.

The Police said: "As a result of the incident, a 62-year-old female was conveyed to Treliske Hospital in a life-threatening condition, along with two other casualties with minor injuries.

"Police officers from the Roads Policing Team, supported by local officers, conducted a thorough investigation of the scene."

The Police also said they would like to thank members of the public for their patience while the road was closed for the duration of the collision investigation.
