The roadworks coming up in Falmouth and Penryn

Today (14th) until 16:30 sees Lower Market Street in Penryn closed off for urgent work, hoist in carriageway for substation works.

Starting yesterday (13th) and continuing until Friday, there will be traffic control in place to excavate and install a new gas pipe.

Beginning on Saturday (18th July), excavation will begin from Berkeley Vale to The Moor to install a link box, this work is expected to be completed on the 28th July. Delays are not expected.

There could be some slight delays on Sunday (19th) near Norfolk Road as the laying of a new gas pipe starts, expected to be completed by the 22nd.

Delays are possible at Bickland Water Road until 24th July to "connect existing Taylor Wimpey site drainage into highway drainage system. Trench across the road and footway to connect pipe into a manhole in the verge." Traffic control will be in place.

Trewen Road could also experience delays as a new water service is installed. The work is expected to be completed by the 17th July.

Greenwood Crescent, Penryn will see traffic control in place from Friday for handrail repairs. Delays possible.
