Falmouth pub The Grapes Alehouse & Kitchen has launched a 'bring the pub to you' - offering pub classics and drinks delivered to your door.

The Grapes, based on Church Street has teamed up with One Delivery Falmouth and Penryn, making freshly cooked meals with beers and ciders poured in containers.

Speaking to Nub News, Tobin Webb of The Grapes said this lockdown looks like it will be long but it is pivotal to keep the community safe.

He continued:

"Since we are closed to normal trading, we are looking to do all we can to keep our independent family business going, support our staff and keep connected with all our customers we miss. So in this lockdown, stay home, stay safe and let us bring the pub to you.

"We've teamed up with local delivery company One Delivery Falmouth and Penryn to put together a range of pub classics, chunky haddock and chips, burgers, vegan food and more cooked fresh and delivered to you.

"We are also selling a range of your favourite drinks you might be missing, the amazing local Verdant brewery's craft beer cans and also Cornish draught real ales and ciders fresh poured into 1, 2, 4 or 8 pint containers. Check regularly as ales will change."

The operating hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm and Sundays 12-8pm.
