Team Betty complete rowing challenge from Truro to Falmouth for charity

On Sunday, Betty Stogs and her team completed a charity challenge rowing from Truro to Falmouth.

The ten-mile row was completed in four hours raising money for Falmouth RNLI and Children's Hospice South West.

Set at a target of £1,000, nearly £650 has been raised so far.

A spokesperson for Falmouth RNLI said:

"Covid-19 has had a massive impact on the RNLI's Income so we really appreciate the efforts of Team Betty in raising funds to keep our rescue service going 24/7.

Following the challenge, the RNLI team praised Fred (Betty Stogs), Paul, Viv, Simon and their support team for their efforts.
