St Ewe Eggs are fundraising for improvements to Falmouth Rugby Club as a thank you for their support in the Shell Out to Help Out campaign.
The business has been using the rugby club as its main base for the events every Saturday.
St Ewe Free Range Eggs launched the Shell Out To Help Out campaign to support local communities and food banks.
Since early January, St Ewe have been popping up at locations throughout Cornwall selling trays of free-range eggs to local communities.
For each tray sold at their current reduced price, 1 carton of eggs are donated to food banks across Cornwall to try and help ease the growing food poverty issue which is being exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over the weekend, St Ewe announced they have so far donated a huge 160,000 eggs to those in need across the region.
Now, Lianne Pearce of St Ewe Eggs, said they wanted to be able to give something back - and came up with the idea to help them to raise money towards getting the car park tarmacked.
Lianne said:
"An amazing turnout at Falmouth Rugby Club on Saturday, we cannot thank them enough for their support enabling us to reach so many of you.
"I know how much it would mean to the club and everyone that uses the grounds."
They have set a target of £10,000 to resurface the car park, with over £300 raised in 5 days.
