The Scare Asylum is a live horror experience based in Penryn for three days this week, starting on Thursday the 27th and ending on Saturday the 29th, the Asylum has teamed up with The Sparkle Foundation Uk to donate 10p for every pound they make.

The Sparkle Foundation Uk supports Man Down for men's mental health, The Street Food project in Penzance, Leukemia support in Helston, and various other local causes.

Steve Smith who runs the Scare Asylum shared his thoughts on why he wanted to team up with the Foundation, he said: "Scare Asylum chose The Sparkle Foundation UK simply because this charity supports many aspects of local life and is fast to react in emergencies. With the charity based in Porthleven they are placed on our doorstep for our local community."

The Scare Asylum is described as a 'scare maze experience' and will have scare actors with twists and turns around every corner, you will have to be over the age of 16 to enter the Asylum.

There will be food and drink available but for any more information or to book your tickets visit the website.
