This afternoon, Falmouth welcome Wadebridge Camels to the Recreation Ground in the final Tribute Western Counties West fixture of 2019.

The Eagles occupy 13th position in the league whilst Wadebridge sit in 7th.

Captain Tom Spiller told Falmouth Nub News:

"Wadebridge haven't had a bad 2019 and managed 7 wins so far with just 4 losses, currently occupying 7th in the table. This is the return fixture, in the first game which was closely contested, the camels come out on top 27-23.

"We have some changes to the side this week, with injuries and some unavailability but we still have a side that can pose them some problems."

Kick-off is at 2:30pm.

Looking back on 2019 for The Eagles, Spiller added:

"We have made some good steps forward off the field and will try to continue that going into 2020!

"The results may not be going the way we want for the 1st XV but we continue to fight for our status in Western Counties. Still, a long way to go! The 2nd XV and colts are still playing regularly and getting good results so a lot to be proud of.

"We hope to see some supporters cheer us on Saturday in our last home game of the year.

"There is also a players reunion hosted by Paddy Varker of the Eagles that got us promoted in 2016/17."

Falmouth team to face Wadebridge: O. Church, A. Bullock, D. Burroughs, T. Vincent, S. Instance, B. Bateson, T. Spiller, P. Garway-Templeman, C. Bullock, C. Penry, N. Carne, S. Firth, T. Job, D. Hubble, S. Thomas. Reps: A. Geach, T. Ward, O. Evans.
