A road closure will be in place next week (in the evening) between Falmouth Road and Treluswell Roundabout.

The work is being undertaken for gully emptying from the 15th March until the 18th March between the hours of 7pm and 6am on a daily basis.

Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Council said:

"Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the order to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway B3292 between Four Cross And Lower Treluswell, B3292 between Lower Treluswell and Browns Hill, The Praze, Church Road,

Commercial Road and Falmouth Road, Treluswell, for the entire lengths.

"The Council is satisfied that the order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out gully emptying."

An alternative route will be in use, through the A39 past Asda and the University.

"Nothing in this order will apply to anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer," Kevin Bryant, Cornwall Council's Head of Highways and Infrastructure, added.
