A pre-application has been submitted for a 100% affordable home scheme in Flushing.

The plans consist of 13 units, 12 houses and 1 bungalow near Tregrew Meadow.

The pre-application form is to seek out planning advice, this could be on various things including development requirements or environmental issues.

The developer is waiting for a decision.

The news was shared by Flushing residents on social media today with one comment reading:

"I suppose its progress but it's a great shame the little village which I grew up in until I left when I was 26 has to lose its feel."
