Commercial Street, Camborne at 04/12/2018 04:27On receipt of this call, appliances from Tolvaddon were mobilised, on arrival the crews found smoke issuing and classified it as 'persons reported', further appliances from Hayle and Perranporth attended as well as specialist resources from St. Just and Falmouth and the Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle (RCER).

The fire involved a commercial property with sleeping accommodation above. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high power hosereel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire.

Update 0600 hours: The fire has been extinguished and all persons are accounted for. Crews remain on scene at this time damping down hot spots and turning over.Date Posted: 04/12/2018
