A bench reportedly stolen earlier this week from Falmouth Health Centre, Trescobeas, has now been returned.

An appeal to return the bench was issued this week by NHS Community Administrator Sue Munday.

The health centre had been given funding for two benches to reward their hardworking nurses for their efforts over the pandemic.

However, one was missing when staff arrived to work on Wednesday morning (23rd).

Luckily members of the public had seen the bench being taken and reported it.

Sue Munday told Nub News:

"Several houses around the health centre and all along the streets had the CCTV footage. The police visited and reclaimed our bench.

"We are very grateful to all the public that came to our plea and the lovely policemen that collected it in their riot van."
