Positive drugs test for uninsured driver in Penryn

An uninsured driver was arrested in Penryn this week following a positive drugs test.

Police stopped the vehicle and tested the driver on the A39 in Penryn, Monday (14th) just after 6pm.

The driver tested positive for cocaine and was arrested as well as having their vehicle seized.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police No Excuse team commented:

"Uninsured vehicle seen A39 Penryn - driver tested positive for cocaine and is now on his way to custody - vehicle seized. No excuse."
