A Falmouth restaurant and takeaway has announced it will be reopening this week as a takeaway only.
The Meat Counter, Falmouth, has said they will be back open on Wednesday (20th May) to serve the community their popular homemade burgers.
Miles from The Meat Counter, told Nub News:
"Of course we're really pleased to be open again, offering Falmouth and Penryn the same quality handmade burgers. Having said that, things certainly won't be the same in terms of the way we operate and nor should they be."
Miles says that although they're happy to be reopening - their social distancing measures will be inforced very seriously.
"All orders must be made in advance over the phone. There will be specific, limited time slots available for collection, with food being brought out to customers and placed at a safe, distanced collection point," Miles continued.
"We'll also be offering limited home delivery slots. It's been such a hard time for everyone.
"And we're really forward to seeing some familiar faces again, though obviously from a safe distance!"
The eatery has said while there will be a reduced menu, they will still be "producing the same quality homemade burgers from scratch, using the same award winning local suppliers".
Food collections and deliveries will be available from 5pm to 9pm. Wednesday to Sunday.
