Police investigating burglary to Falmouth business

A break in to a Falmouth restaurant has sparked a police appeal.

Thursday 5th May, just after 1am entry was gained into The Windjammer Cafe and Bar. The police stated damage was caused inside the premises.

The Windjammer issued their own appeal on social media this afternoon (16th), saying they had CCTV of the incident.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Police are investigating reports of a burglary at a commercial premises in Grove Place, Falmouth, which took place on Thursday 5th May. It was reported that shortly after 1am entry was gained to the premises and damage caused.

"Officers are continuing to make enquiries in relation to this matter.

"Anyone with information which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/038150/22."
