Devon and Cornwall Police are hiring volunteers to support police cadet units - a position that is open in Falmouth.

Devon & Cornwall Police are also looking at Liskeard and Camborne.

A spokesperson for the police said:

"In the role, cadet leaders work closely with police officers and police staff to run local units, help organise group activities and whenever possible participate in initiatives to support local policing teams.

"Anyone over the age of 18 years old can apply for the role. There are no formal qualifications required, just commitment and enthusiasm for the police service and being part of something exciting in your local community."
