Police at Falmouth Docks after ship runs aground in crash

Police officers were called out to an incident at Falmouth Docks early this morning.

On scene, it was discovered two boats had crashed.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police were called to Falmouth Docks at around 8am this morning with a report that a ship had run aground.

"A cargo ship crashed into a Royal Navy vessel and run aground.

"Police have been at the scene carrying out enquiries this morning."

There are currently no reports of injuries.
