Police appeal for witnesses after woman sustains 'life changing' injuries in Mylor crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following an accident in Mylor this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to Mylor Bridge, Falmouth, following reports of a collision between a car and three pedestrians.

Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"At around 10:18am on Tuesday 31st March police were informed about a Road Traffic Collision involving a White Volkswagen Polo and a number of pedestrians outside Mylor Stores on Lemon Hill.

"As a result of the collision a 63-year-old female has sustained serious life-changing injuries, she is currently being treated in Hospital. The other persons involved were treated at scene for minor injuries.

"The driver of the VW Polo a 94-year-old local man stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.

"Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the collision to investigate and establish how the collision occurred."
