Police are investigating a report of aggravated burglary in Falmouth and would like to trace two males seen running from the scene.

Officers were called to an address in Windsor Court at about 6 am on Saturday 8 April to reports of a disturbance.

A man was found with a puncture wound to his groin and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Police are keen to trace two males who were seen running from the scene at the time in the direction of Lister Hill.

Both are described as white, about 17-18 years old, of medium build, and wearing jeans and jumpers. It is thought they were both carrying rucksacks on their backs, and one of the males had a flat-faced white dog with him.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident. A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, and a 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm.

All have been bailed until 14 June.

If you saw the two males in the area at the time or have any information or footage that could help with enquiries, please contact police via the website here or by calling 101 quoting reference 50230080147.
