The Penryn duo who began the initiative to sing 'Cornwall My Home' after the NHS clap will be joining their group up with the birthday celebrations for Captain Tom Moore.
Shelley Peters and Rachel Gerred-Hart, Penryn residents who created the Voices Of The Borough Facebook page, have called for a collaboration with the happy birthday celebrations of the former soldier who has raised over £27 million for the NHS.
April 30th will see the group joining in a happy birthday song for Captain Tom Moore after the NHS clap, before breaking into the usual 'Cornwall is my home' rendition.
The happy birthday song will be alongside over 80,000 people across the world who have also confirmed their attendance for the celebrations.
The Voices Of The Borough group has over 15,000 supporters hailing from all over the world, all of which tune in to sing together to highlight Cornwall's strength during the coronavirus.
Will Keating of the Oggymen will again be leading the sing-along this Thursday via live stream, which has been pulling in thousands of viewers every week.
