Penryn & Falmouth Funeral Directors to host classic car show for charity this weekend
There will be classic cars and cream teas this weekend as Penryn & Falmouth Funeral Directors get ready to put on a charity event.
On Saturday 7th August from 11am-4pm, the funeral directors on Kernick Road will be putting on the classic car show with all proceeds going to the Sea Sanctuary, a local mental health charity in Penryn.
On the day there will be a show of Director Robin Hattswell-Burt's collection of classic cars, Cornish Cream Teas, with neighbours Kernow Kars putting on a car wash and there will be a luxury raffle.
Ahead of the jam packed day, Daniel Shermon told Nub News:
"Sea Sanctuary are a local charity based in the area, and they do amazing work for people suffering from mental health.
"We wanted to be able to do give something back to the community, and decided that as Robin has some very interesting and head-turning vehicles, this would be a great way to do that. Whilst, raising funds for a very worthy cause.
"Mental Health is something that impacts many, and we hope that by raising funds for Sea Sanctuary, this would go a small way towards helping others."
