There are reports of delays through Penryn this evening following multiple incidents.

Just after 5pm this evening (13th) accidents were reported on the A39 Penryn Bypass, Antron Hill to Hillhead Roundabout. Another separate accident on the A394 near Long Downs.

According to witnesses, the traffic throughout Penryn is a "nightmare" with emergency services on the scene and police closing off the road.

On the A39 incident, the Force Incident Manager for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Three vehicle RTC (Road Traffic Collision) and the road is currently closed whilst officers are on scene dealing with it."

And on the A394 in Penryn, they added:

"Two vehicle non-injury RTC."

No details of injuries as of yet. More updates when we get them.
