Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank appeal for most needed supplies

Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank have put out a weekly reminder of items that are most needed.
In the regular notice, the foodbank thanked residents for the continued support and generous donations.
A spokesperson for the Foodbank said:
"We are beginning to focus on Christmas, which will be here before we know it, and therefore, over the next few weeks we will be including certain items which will help to make Christmas a little more special for our clients."
An update for this week of the items which are most needed:
Shower Gel
Shaving FoamLong Life Milk
Small Jars CoffeeSanitary Towels
Sweets and ChocolatesWet Dog Food
Toilet Rolls CHRISTMAS ITEMS The following are typically the items that we put into a Christmas Food Box, so any of the items off this list would be gratefully received. 2 x tins of meat1 x tin of potatoes
1 x tin of sweetcorn/green veg1 x tin of carrots
1 x jar of cranberry sauce1 x gravy granules
Stuffing1 x Christmas pudding
Mince Pies1 x Tin Custard or Tin Cream
1 x Tin of FruitPacket of Christmassy biscuits
Box of chocolatesPacket of savoury nibbles
Christmas cake or chocolate logSoft drink (no alcohol please)
The local drop-off points are:
Asda (ONLY PURCHASES BOUGHT IN-STORE PLEASE)
Tesco Metro (ONLY PURCHASES BOUGHT IN-STORE PLEASE)Natural Store
