An owner has praised the support involved in managing to locate Charlie the dog who went missing from his Penryn home.
A major search then got underway with fellow dog owners and drones being brought out to assist in the efforts.
Late last night (6th) the owner got a call from a man who found Charlie wandering in the Mylor area.
Charlie's owner said:
"There he is, wagging his tail and looking sheepish. I'm shaking, explaining to the man who is saying they nearly hit him, he has dogs, he takes in what I'm saying, gone 7 nights, drones, media, hundreds of owners looking, the man is amazed and so happy for me.
"We help him out, he's fat, not signs of any injuries. Into my van. Two minutes home. Let him in through the garage the rest mob him, sniffing all over, telling me he's home, he drinks, he hops on the bed. Slightly miffed I've changed the duvet but back where he belongs.
"I can't explain how grateful and touched I am by all your support and encouragement, it really helped, and your prayers obviously got Charlie home."
